At Western Washington University, we strive to create a community that encourages and promotes healthy lifestyles, positive wellbeing and sustainable reconstruction,  as well as increasing access to nutritious and culturally appropriate foods for campus.

 

We are a student-led organization, and are in the early stages of researching the need for a solution to food insecurity of the student body. Our short term goal is to implement a survey for Western, and see if there is a need. If we find there is, we are creating a plan of action to create a solution to the issue.

This project promotes awareness, as well as an incentive to act. No one should go hungry, and should have food available that fulfills nutritious and cultural necessities.
